The task of NBR Nordic Beet Research is through research, trials, information and demonstration to secure sugar beets as a long term sustainable, competitive crop and a stable high quality raw material for the sugar production.
Mutual efforts enforce the development in this respect to advance the beet growing regarding efficiency, economics and quality raw material. We are open to criticism and we encourage all to contribute with new ideas or reviews direct or through the NBR liaison group, which consists of representatives from Danish Sugar Beet Growers, Swedish Sugar Beet Growers and Nordic Sugar A/S Agri centers.
We owe our thanks to our customers and everybody who contribute to support our research activities. Especially we owe our thanks to our trial hosts who’s engagement and obligingness we are fully dependant.
