In two separate trials, the control of black bean aphids Aphis fabae (inoculated) and peach potato aphids
Myzus persicae (natural occurrence) has been studied with four and five insecticides respectively. Pirimor
500 WG shows a high and fast effect against both types of aphids. Teppeki and Movento SC 100 are
suggested to work a little slower but show high effect 7-8 days after treatment. In the trials, Fibro has shown
a high effect on black bean aphids, but a low effect on peach aphids. Lamdex has shown no effect on peach
aphids. Lamdex has not been tested against black bean aphids.
