Conclusion

In two separate trials, the control of peach potato aphids Myzus persicae (natural occurrence) has been studied with a single application of different insecticides and alternative agents. The most effect is seen with the approved products Pirimor 500 WG and Teppeki. Carnadine also has a good effect but is not registered in sugar beets. Mavrik which is not registered either shows a lower effect in the two trials. The non-registered agents Flipper + Dynex and Neudosan Agro do not show an effect with a single treatment carried out in the two trials. Renol indicates little effect, while Silwet Gold indicates little effect, but Renol and Silwet Gold have only been tested in one trial each.
