Conclusion

In two trials in 2024, the need for fungal control has been investigated in relation to harvesting from September to December in two varieties with a high susceptibility to rust and powdery mildew. In the trials, the first and second treatments were carried out with the mixture 0,3 liter Comet Pro + 0,55 liter Propulse, and the third treatment was carried out with 0,5 liter Amistar Gold pr ha. The results generally show a clear effect of treating leaf diseases, although no statistical difference between the number of treatments has been achieved at all harvest times. When treatments have started at the end of July, and when harvest has been carried out at the end of September, one treatment tends to result in the highest net income. When harvested at the end of October, two treatments have shown the highest net income, when harvested at the end of November, two to three treatments have been most optimal, and when harvested in early December, three treatments have given the best result. In an average of three trials 2023-2024, the results show the highest net income with two treatments when harvested on October 25, two to three treatments show the highest net income when harvested on November 19, but there is no clear difference between two and three treatments with both harvest times.
Corrected for harvest time, growth in the 2024 trials in the period from 15 September to 15 December is 22 per cent, which is somewhat lower than measured in the 2006-2010 trials, which, corrected, is 34 per cent. on average.
