Dyser til båndsprøjtning mod bladsvampe

Conclusion

In two trials, it has been investigated whether it can be an advantage to band spray against leaf diseases rather than standard broad application. Several nozzles have been tested and compared with relevant reference nozzles. In both trials, beet rust was the dominant leaf disease, and the differences found between treatments have been very small. Powdery mildew was only found in one of the two trials. The results show a tendency that treatment 5 with band spraying, fine nozzle and low water volume gave the highest disease control against powdery mildew compared to the other treatments. When looking at yield, there were no significant differences between the treatments, but it was again treatment 5 with band spraying, fine nozzle and low water volume that gave the highest additional yield for fungicide spraying. In general, the conclusion is, that the nozzle selection is not very important for the efficacy against leaf diseases. Factors as timing, choice of product and dose are more important for a good effect of the disease control program.
