Konklusion
En ændring af rækkeafstanden fra 50 til 30 cm øgede sukkerudbyttet med fire procent i gennemsnit og maksimalt med fem procent (forsøget i 2018). Øgningen i sukkerudbyttet var tydeligst for en plantebestand på omkring 80.000 planter/ha, hvilket er den plantebestand, der anbefales i praksis, og ikke for en plantebestand på omkring 100.000 planter.
Der var ingen signifikante effekter af at øge plantebestanden fra omkring 80.000 til omkring 100.000.
Conclusion
Changing the row distance from 30 to 50 cm increased sugar yields by four percent on average and at a maximum of five percent (the trial in 2018). The increased sugar yield was only obtained at a plant stand of around 80.000 plants (recomended for praxis) and not for a plant stand of around 100.000 plants.
There were no significant effects of changing the plant stand from around 80.000 to 100.000.
