Conclusion

Rust has been the dominant leaf disease in sugar beets 2022 and attacks of powdery mildew have come later than usual. Cercospora has occurred in most fields, but at a low level. There have been weak attacks of Ramularia in some fields. In the monitoring service, first treatment was notified in week 30 (July 25-29) and for the second treatment in week 33 (August 15-19).
